On Sunday, 28th September 2025, our parish family at the Catholic Church of the Assumption, Falomo, Ikoyi will gather to celebrate the Feast of Our Lady, Undoer of Knots.
This devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary is a powerful reminder of her tender love and intercession in our lives. Just as Mary untied the knots of sin and despair through her obedience to God, she continues to help us untangle the “knots” in our own lives — those challenges, struggles, and difficulties that weigh us down.
The day will be marked with:
- A solemn Mass in honor of Our Lady, Undoer of Knots
- Special prayers of intercession for families, marriages, and personal intentions
- A Marian procession and hymns of praise to our Mother
- A time of reflection and thanksgiving for her maternal care
This feast is an invitation to place our trust in Mary, who always leads us closer to her Son, Jesus. Whatever “knots” we may be facing — be it confusion, broken relationships, addictions, financial struggles, or doubts — we bring them before Our Lady with faith that she will intercede for us.
We encourage all parishioners to come with open hearts, entrusting their intentions to Our Lady. May this celebration strengthen our devotion to her and bring peace, healing, and renewal to our parish family.
